Abstract
Ventricular septal defect (VSD) is common cardiac abnormality. It is frequently found as a part of complex cardiac malformations and certain associated conditions. For example, secondary aortic regurgitation, right ventricular outflow tract (RVOT) obstruction, and late development of subaortic and subpulmonary stenosis arise because of the VSD itself. We report a case of unrepaired VSD complicated by RVOT obstruction with right ventricular hypertrophy and an overriding aorta which looks like tetralogy of Fallot.
